Question 2 – If the day before the day before yesterday was Thursday, what is the day after the day after tomorrow?
Question 3 – The sum of the digits of 2014 is a prime number. How many years will it be until the sum of the digits of the year is again a prime number?

On Tuesday 25th November The Morpeth Partnership of Schools came together for an amazing spectacle of a concert at the Sage Gateshead.
The Partnership consisted of The King Edward VI High School, Chantry and Newminster Middle Schools along with 15 other First and Middle Schools. It was truly a sight to behold. Eager smiling faces singing and playing their hearts out to an audience of over 1100 people.
Dave Burn came to Chantry on Monday 1st of December to do a ‘Personal Safety and Staying Safe on the Streets’ workshop with Year 6. The workshop educated our students about various aspects of personal safety ranging from mobile phones to internet. Dave also discussed student safety whilst out in the community with their friends.
Dave Burn is a ‘Be Safe’ trainer. ‘Be Safe’ works in partnership with the Home Office to provide workshops in schools and colleges where they can access young people. The workshops form part of a five year national strategy which aims to reduce the number of young people that are placing themselves in dangerous situations whilst out in the community.
“Since Dave came in, I have a better understanding of how to stay safe. I enjoyed the short video clips because they get serious points across well. I learned that it is important to help your friends stay safe as well.” Luke Hodgson 6N
Two Year 7 classes, 7S and 7M have been learning about the work of the Suffragettes and local heroine Emily Davison at her burial place in St Mary’s Church, Morpeth.
Penni Blythe-Jones, who organised the “Emily Inspires!” campaign last year and Morpeth Town Councillor Andrew Tebbutt were the guest speakers who helped to make the past come alive.
Are there any parents or friends of the school would be willing to give up valuable time to work with our students in the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths).
On the 13th March 2015 we will be staging a range of events to raise the profile of STEM within the school community.
You could give a careers talk or simply talk about what your job entails or perhaps provide us with a link to an organisation. Thank-you in anticipation!
Please contact Miss Edwards for further information.
