On the 30th January Year 8 Pupils from Chantry and Newminster enjoyed a sunny day out at Baltic, Gateshead as part of their Bronze Arts Award studies.
They ‘participated as an audience’ and explored the colourful works of Jesse Wine and Graeme Durant.
Zac Megwa said that ‘the best bit of the trip was seeing the Graeme Durant exhibition as his artwork was different’.
Olivia Carrick thought that Graeme Durant was ‘very unique – I’ve never seen anything like it’.
Annie Ord thought that ‘Graeme Durant was amazing because I liked his use of different textures and it was very imaginative’.
