Middlesbrough Football Club have sacked Aitor Karanka after three and a half years at the club. Middlesbrough haven’t won in their last 10 Premier League games and are now left in the relegation zone, three points from safety with only 11 games left. Also, they are the league’s lowest scorers and got knocked out of the FA cup by Manchester City last weekend. Assistant coach, Steve Agnew, will take control of the first team.
Middlesbrough’s most dedicated fan, Mr Nicholson, gave us his opinion on the sacking: “I am very pleased that Karanka has been sacked because now, hopefully we’ll play attacking football instead of dull and boring defence. When Aitor was manger the games weren’t very entertaining. I wish that the new manager will have a lot of passion!”
