Happy New Year!

February saw the start of the Chinese New Year and this year is the Year of the Monkey. To celebrate, members of the Confucius Institute at Newcastle University came in to work with some Year 8s during DLE.

They got the chance to do a Kung Fu and Tai Chi taster session as well as trying their hand at some Chinese calligraphy. Thanks to He Qi and Vincent for sharing their expertise.
