Congratulations to the Magistrates Court Mock trial team who won the Local Heat of the competition at North Tyneside Magistrates Court in North Shields on Saturday 12th March. They were magnificent at prosecuting and defending in the case of Charlie Smith who had allegedly assaulted Andy Manning in Castletown.

The team were competing against Newminster, Alnwick Duke’s, Seaton Sluice, Thomas More, Longbenton, Cramlington Learning Village & Whitley Bay

We are eternally grateful to Kate & Carolyn, two local magistrates who supported us through the competition.

They will now take part in the Regional Final in May – good luck!
