Leicester beat Sevilla 2-0 to win 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League.
Leicester lost the 1st leg 2-1 when Claudio Ranieri was still in charge. They replaced Ranieri for Craig Shakespeare. Now they’ve won 3 games in a row and are in the Champions League quarter finals. Wes Morgan put Leicester in front with a header. Then Marc Albrighton made sure that Leicester won the game. Samir Nasri got a second yellow card and was sent off for a push on Jamie Vardy. Leicester keeper, Kasper Schmeichel, saved a penalty from Steven N’Zonzi that would have taken it to extra time.
This is Leicester’s third win in a row. They will be in the draw on Friday, 17th March.
Will the fairytale continue?
