Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Matt Leonard and PCSO Simon Beavers have been into school to deliver an e-safety assembly as part of Safer Internet Day. Year 5 & 6 had their assembly on Wednesday the 4th of February and the Officers are coming back on the Tuesday 10th of February to deliver another assembly that is more age appropriate for our older students.
Safer Internet Day gets hundreds of organisations involved to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. The day offers the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community. It calls upon young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policy makers, and wider, to join together in helping to create a better internet. Ultimately, a better internet is up to us!
