Well done to all of the year 8 girls that took part in the ‘Girls Go Digital’ event at the Sage Gateshead on Friday the 16^th of January.

All girls got the chance to work with industry experts and got hands on experience with a diverse range of digital technologies.

It was a great opportunity to develop their skills and be inspired by ground-breaking women from this exciting sector.

Interactive sessions covered; App and web development, 3D printing, Forensic science and Coding

All girls got a goody bag at the end of the event. Well done to Monet Wendt who won the latest Kindle Fire HD tablet! The group she was working with won the overall prize for web development.
