On 16th November we were fortunate enough to welcome Rich Cottell to Chantry who is an upcoming singer. He delivered a session to KS2 about Online Safety & Cyber Bullying and a session on Discrimination & Radicalisation for KS3.
The session started off with a performance from Rich, followed by the talk side of the session and finally a chance for the pupils to meet Rich and get a signed flyer. Rich informed the students to make the right choices in regards to online safety and why it is important to celebrate the diversity between each other. He also discussed personal stories of when he has been affected by these issues which helped to provide a great insight into these topics. The children thoroughly enjoyed Rich’s visit and took away some really important messages.
