STEM Ambassadors from Northumbria University spent the day at Chantry delivering Exploring Science Outreach sessions to KS2 students.
Working in small groups, students had to design and construct a motorised moon rover using Technical Lego. They then programmed their rover to see how well it performed on different surfaces.
The students all had a great time and learnt all about the different forces acting on their moon rovers. They also had a chance to discuss university life with the STEM Ambassadors.
We are very grateful to the team from Northumbria University for their support and expertise during the day.
