Visitors to the Garden Centre along with family members were treated to a varied programme of music performed by the choir and musicians interspersed with dance sequences. The students had been rehearsing for a joint school Summer Showcase and were able to perform a number of items from that programme. Students, their parents and staff were thanked by Lynsey Crofts, a designation from Wyevale, and Jane, a representative of the charity, who explained how funds were being used for the benefit of children with bone cancer and their families.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Thank you so very much to you and your colleagues for coming in with the children today, they were fantastic and a real credit to yourselves and the schools.
I’ve had a quick tot up and we raised £225 for Henry Dancer Days which is absolutely brilliant and Jane from the charity was thrilled with both the funds raised and the effort you’d all gone to.
Many Thanks,
Lynsey Crofts (Heighley Gate Garden Centre)
