Well done to Kirsty, Megan, Ella and Mrs Michie who represented Chantry on Friday 6th March at St Mary’s Church and read at the International Women’s Day Service.

The Mayor, town councillors, visitors and members of the local community and members of Emily Davison’s extended family took part in the service in memory of Emily’s bravery for women’s rights.

Ian Lavery, Wansbeck MP thanked the girls for their excellent contribution.
