There is lots happening in Creative Arts in the coming week! Here’s all the information you need to know:

Choir singing for the Coca Cola Truck

Morpeth Market Square, Thursday 16 November at 4.30pm

Pupils in choir need to meet on Thursday 16th November in the Morpeth Market Square to meet Ms Jones, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Woolley at 4.15pm. They must be accompanied by an adult who will stay to watch the 30 minute performance before collecting your child when they come off stage. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility of your child at the event.

Children in Need

Friday 17 November, morning

On the Friday morning of Children in Need all pupils, in form classes, will decorate their class cake to their design. The cakes will then be taken to the Chantry Hall where we would have tables up in a large square and they would be displayed as one large cake. Pupils could come and admire after that and then we give cakes back to form teachers to cut and give a slice to pupil in the afternoon.

The ingredients for the cakes, icing (not decoration), boards and cake will be provided by the school however we are asking pupils to bring the rest of the decorations that they need as directed by their form teacher.

We will also have a non-uniform day with a Pudsey theme to raise money for the charity with and optional £1 donation and choir would do their sponsored sing as usual in the Chantry hall in the afternoon to raise funds also.

Drama Club performance of ‘The Conquest of Mopreth’

Drama club will be staging a performance of their own devised work based on ‘The Conquest of Morpeth’ on Thursday 23rd November 2017 at 2pm in the Chantry Hall.
