Happy National Poetry Day everyone!

4th October 2020Mrs C Allison

Our pupils have celebrated the event by analysing, creating, decorating and performing their own poems, whilst listening to the poems of other famous authors. We’ve had pet poetry, challenging poetry, nonsense poetry and poems around this year’s theme of ‘Vision’. We are very proud of our pupils’ efforts and hope you enjoy these clips from the day.

Year 8 COVID-19 Update

20th September 2020Mrs C Allison
Year 8 self isolation
We have made the difficult decision this evening to close the school to all Year 8 students after receiving further information today of two more students in Year 8 who have tested positive for COVID-19. Your child will have self isolate for 14 days.
We understand the late nature of this decision but we have acted upon the information received today as quickly as possible. We must prioritise the health and safety of our students first and foremost.
We will send further details tomorrow detailing a return date for each class for further clarity.
Remote Education will be provided via Google classroom. A letter will be sent on Monday 21st September providing further details.
Take care,
Bryan Stewart – Headteacher

We are sharing all information with first and primary schools and will continue to add all information on our website.

We very much look forward to meeting the children soon.
