England for the Win?

16th March 2017L Dickinson

SixNationsThe Six Nations Rugby tournament comprises Ireland, France, Italy, Scotland,  Wales and England. England is leading, with Ireland second, France third, Wales fourth, Scotland fifth and Italy in sixth place. England can’t be defeated, however, whether or not they get the Grand Slam we will just have to wait and see!

The Grand Slam is when you win all the games you play. England won the Grand Slam last year. This year they are playing Ireland, who are second in the league, in their last match of the league! It will be a tough match though!

Italy is at the bottom of the table, having won no games.

We hope England gets the Grand Slam and we will definitely be watching the match on Saturday at 5:00pm!

When it was announced it would be released, the media went wild and were all desperate to know who would be playing Belle? Well, when it was announced that they had  casted Emma Watson there was some mixed emotions from many people, mainly they were very happy, but some only saw her as Hermione Granger. In our eyes, Emma Watson is perfect to play Belle and we are very happy that they casted her, and are excited to see her featured in the movie!

Disaster strikes as British cruise ship destroys coral

16th March 2017L Dickinson

cruisecoralTwo weeks ago, a British cruise ship took sail to the Indonesian ocean with hundreds of tourists. It accidentally destroyed extraordinary coral.

The locals are “devastated” at this news and say that the coral has always been a great sight to the village throughout the years. Lots of tourists visit the reef each year and will be a big miss. Around 1,600 square meters of the coral has been thought to be damaged.

Ruben Sauyai said to the BBC he was in “tears” after hearing about it, for he is a local diving instructor. The ship didn’t get the tide times correct and took the wrong course according to sources. A tugboat was then sent out to refloat the boat, but that just made matters worse and destroyed more of the reef.

People say that the British company should pay up around £1.7 million pounds in compensation. Lots of people are trying to raise money to repair the great reef.
