Year 7 spent a week in Austria from 8th July-15th July. It was an early start of 6.30am on the Saturday morning as we made our way to Dover for the 5pm ferry. We then spent the night travelling through France and Germany before arriving in Wagrain, Austria.
The children had an amazing time and showed resilience, team work and courage as they took part in the activities throughout the week. The activities included tobogganing, white water rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking, high ropes, sailing, mountain biking and tubing as well as visiting the local water park. The views were phenomenal and we had loads of fun!
The evening talent show proved popular and it was fantastic to see so many of our young people getting up to sing, dance and even perform with a puppet. Their competitive edge also came out during quiz night where the winners beat the teacher team!
A fantastic week was had by all and we are so very proud of all of the children.
