Jamie Carragher apologises again about the “awful” spitting incident on Saturday after Liverpool lost 2-1 against their long time rivals, Man United.

Jamie Carragher was videoed spitting at a car window from which a football fan was taunting him while driving away from Old Trafford. The man’s 14 year old daughter says she was hit in the face by the spit.

Afterwards, Carragher, who had been covering the match for Sky Sports, phoned the family to apologise.

Now Liverpool’s ambassador, Jamie Carragher has been dropped by Sky Sports so you won’t be hearing his calls for rest of the season.

I think that this sort of behaviour is not acceptable. Jamie Carragher is one of the greatest England captains of all time, making 69 appearances for his country and is a role model for thousands of young people like me. He should think about his actions.
