A group of 30 Year 8 students spent the afternoon working with four undergraduate medical students from Newcastle University.
The medical students worked in small groups to discuss and demonstrate the role of different organs in the human body.
The session involved students using stethoscopes to measure each other’s heart rate and listen to the digestive system at work.
We are very grateful to the Newcastle University students for giving up their free time to explain more about their subject, chosen career path and university life in general.
