Pupils collaborated to create Anglo-Saxon villages using the houses and materials they had brought in.

Each table was also provided with a set amount of paper and additional materials. It was explained to pupils that, just like the Anglo-Saxons, they could barter with other groups to secure the resources they needed to complete their villages.

The ability to work effectively as a team was also discussed.
