6C & 6F took part in a Tetrahedron workshop led by Business Ambassador for
Northumberland County Council, Carole Richards. Two Business Ambassadors supported the workshop. Miss Phillips represented GallifordTry, one of the UK’s leading housebuilding and construction groups and Mr Neal represented the legal department from Northumberland County Council.
The workshop is part of our Carers Education, Information and Guidance (CEIAG) and Enterprise programme of study. The experience aims to develop the students understanding of the world of work and develop their teamwork, organisation and entrepreneurial skills.
Grace and Izzy from 6C, enjoyed taking part and appreciated the opportunity for the whole class to work together as a team. They quickly realised that if they were going to be sucessful at the task that they had to co-operate with each other.
Congratulations to 6C for winning the competition after creating and testing an impressive structure. The other 2 year 6 classes will take part in the Tetrahedron workshop later in the year.
