IMG_2417On Friday 23rd January, we’re having the first non-school uniform day of 2015 to raise money for North East charity Making Winter Warmer for Those Without who support homeless people across the region.

Mrs Wright from the Charity came into school to tell us about what they do on Thrsday 15th January.

As well as a minimum donation of 50p, we will also be collecting various items that can be given to those in need.

Items suitable for donation include:

  • Rucksack, holdall or small suitcase
  • Sleeping bag
  • Jackets and coats
  • Clothes
  • Hat, scarf, gloves, hand warmers
  • Tins of soup (ring pull)
  • Snacks (non-perishable)
  • Flask
  • Spoon
  • Bottled water
  • Toothbrush and paste
  • Tissues
  • Baby wipes
  • Deodorant
  • Hair brush, comb
