The MFL department at Chantry regularly says ‘Bonjour’ to university students who have an interest in language teaching.  Naomi Jones is in the last few months of her French, Spanish and Business degree at Newcastle University, and since September has been a welcome visitor working as a classroom assistant, as well as helping out in numerous activities such as the Spelling Bee.  Her time at Chantry has come to an end and we wish to say a big thank you to her for being part of our department this year.  We wish her all the best with her exams and future endeavours.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Chantry and have felt really inspired by the different methods of teaching I saw. As well as helping out in the MFL department, I was also given the opportunity to observe other lessons such as Science which gave me a great overall view of teaching at the school.
